About HYENA

It began at a skatepark.

HYENA began when our founder, Lin, took her daughter to the skatepark and saw how often women had to prove they belonged before they could simply ride their own way.

Lin brings more than 30 years of experience in precision bearing manufacturing. For her, starting with bearings felt natural—a way to connect the craft she knew best with the world her daughter was discovering. Drawing on everything she had built over those years, she poured that knowledge and care into HYENA skateboard bearings—for her daughter and every rider determined to carve their own line.

Our brand statement

Here's to the soul who carves her own line.

When they said the world wasn't meant for her, she didn't listen. She was busy skating.

Every fall is an imprint left on the earth. Every rise is a proof change in the rules.

We were born for a spirit just like hers.

We are more than a brand.

We are a quiet rebellion that waits for no one.

We ride where respect is earned.

The Respect Code

Respect the line

Your line is not borrowed. It is chosen, tested, and earned.

Respect the setup

Clean it. Tune it. Know what you ride.

Respect the ground

Real pavement decides what lasts.
