Skateboard Bearing Size: 608 Dimensions and Quantity

Most conventional skateboards use 608 bearings. Each has an 8 mm bore, a 22 mm outside diameter, and a 7 mm width. A four-wheel board uses eight bearings.

2.Your wheel diameter is a separate measurement

A 54 mm wheel measures 54 mm across its outside. That number describes the wheel, while 608 identifies the bearing size shown above. Check the wheel's bearing specification when choosing a replacement.

3.Count wheels, then multiply by two

A conventional skateboard wheel has a bearing on each side. A four-bearing pack therefore covers two wheels; replacing the bearings in all four wheels takes an eight-pack.
