Choose Street Core for outdoor street skating when dust protection is your priority. Choose Hyper Speed for a low-drag setup on cleaner, smoother surfaces, with more frequent care.
Street Core has red rubber seals; Hyper Speed has yellow rubber seals. Both feature HYENA’s MirrorFlow technology, which uses precision-polished raceways and steel balls. The choice between them comes down to the conditions you skate in and the your maintenance routine.

1.Street Core: dust protection first
Street Core uses the Dust-Lock System and prioritizes dust protection for everyday outdoor street skating.
Compared with Hyper Speed, Street Core offers stronger dust protection and calls for less frequent maintenance. It still needs regular cleaning and lubrication.

2.Hyper Speed: low drag first
Hyper Speed prioritizes low drag and is intended for clean, smooth conditions.
The trade-off is dust protection. Hyper Speed has less of it than Street Core, so we recommend more frequent cleaning and lubrication.
We don’t recommend Hyper Speed for extended use in dusty conditions.

3.How to choose skateboard bearings for mixed sessions
Both models are recommended for skatepark use. A clean outdoor park can suit Hyper Speed, while an indoor session is also within Street Core’s intended use. Surface conditions matter more to this choice than the indoor or outdoor label alone.
For a board regularly used at dusty street spots and skateparks, we’d choose Street Core.
New to choosing your own bearings? Use the same criteria. Start with your usual spots and care routine rather than treating the two models as beginner and advanced tiers.
4.Rain and wet ground
We don’t recommend either model for wet conditions. Street Core’s stronger dust protection should not be read as a recommendation for rain or wet ground.
Before ordering, check the selected model and its included items on the product page.
